“We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
Love not only make you a better person, but it also changes the whole of
you…
It teaches you to worship someone.
It makes you genuinely care about someone.
It let you experience, let you explore the most
beautiful intuition of love.
It teaches you to admit your mistakes.
It makes you love someone’s flaws.
It makes you be wise to two hearts,
You lose your ego.
You become so childlike.
It makes you love someone compassionately,
completely and till and beyond infinity…
When you start a relationship you will feel butterflies, tingles, and
many more amazing things. However, after a while, this mellows out and you
won't feel any of this anymore.
As for love, this grows as you get closer.
Everyone has their own definition of love as it’s not something that can easily
be explained.
For me, it’s the following-
“Love is not the desire to be together, it’s the unwillingness to be apart.”
At some point you won’t notice the love in the
relationship anymore, however, the moment when you need to do something
separated from your partner, you’ll get lonely, you’ll wish you were together
again. It’s similar to being homesick. When you’re at home, you won't miss it,
but when you’re away, you wish you were back.
Remember how it was at the beginning?
You couldn’t wait to see your partner, you could talk for hours, you’d
hang off all of their words — and they off yours.
But lately the conversation has dried up. So has the sense of adventure.
You wouldn’t call it bad — just predictable, a little stale. How was your day…?
What’s for dinner…? Who’s on dishes?
What’s up with the kids?
Who’s doing the pick-ups tomorrow?
The relationship holds good when both could relate
to each other.
We stay in love because of 'Efforts', they equally do from both sides.
Reserve at least 25-30 minutes of uninterrupted
time per day to really listen and communicate about your days. Don't be afraid
of bringing up tough subjects and asking directly for what you need in these
scenarios, either.
