Touching Hearts

Birthdays are days to celebrate life, to take stock of what you have achieved,
to share time with those whom you consider closest to you.
There is time to realize the mistakes made and the relationships lost.
We all celebrate birthdays with new clothes and make elaborate plans to treat
but do we appreciate the prayers that our parents would have said ?

I have a rule which I follow when it comes to wishing people on birthdays.
If I haven’t spoken to you in the last year or haven’t had any interaction with
 you during the last 12 months, I am not going to wish you.
Because you deserve better.
If I am just remembering you from a Facebook notification,
I don’t deserve to be on your “friend list”.

Take time out on this one day and spend it with folks that matter. Make this day count meaningfully. Even while wishing someone on their special days, wish with your heart not just your lips; take some time and make your wish count; you rarely get opportunities to appreciate a person, use this day to appreciate as well.

Trust me you will add miles to the smiles on the face of the person you wish.

Balidan Yaad Rakhna

But are we doing enough for them???
NO...but the fact is they don't even care.

Lessons Learned

Absolute Nothing but Everything

Do You Ever Just Crave Someone's Presence???
Like You Would Literally
Be Happy Just Sitting Next To Them
& It Could Be Completely Silent...

Everything known

I found that quote today...and it literally made me sit down to think about it.

It made me think about how I am spending my time. It made me think about what’s really important in my life and how I am organizing the time that I have right now. By looking at what I’m doing, I think you can clearly see what’s a priority in my life. But that doesn’t mean that there don’t need to be adjustments – of course there need to be some changes – but that’s an ongoing process in my life. I look at what I did today and make adjustments for tomorrow.
“Good enough” is broken thinking to me.

I know I will never achieve perfection. That’s something I know. But what I’ve realized that in my striving to make something perfect I fall just short and hit something else completely – excellence. To me, that’s worth it. It’s worth it to be really good at a few things instead of being good enough at a lot of different things.

When it comes down to it, I want to be able to touch peoples hearts and minds like no one else in the world can. I want to do it to the best of my capability and then continue to elevate that every single day. It’s not about competing with other people, but about seeing the ghost of my potential and knowing that I have something more to give.

That can be a pretty exhausting thing when you are just starting…competing with what you are capable of.

But it’s not always that way. In fact, when you really get going, you have some momentum behind you and you start to heat up a bit. It’s a lot easier to make changes when you are moving than stopped completely. Thinking about when you drive your car on the freeway. Make a little turn to the wheel and you’re off into another lane. Catch my drift?

What all of this comes down to however is a discussion about what really matters in your life. Because the truth is, no matter what’s going on, you make time for those who matter and you do what needs to be done – if it matters to you. (But still there are some exceptional cases.)
That’s the dead honest truth.

It’s a truth that cuts a very straight line in between you being interested in something and you being committed to it. When you are interested in something, you only do it when it’s convenient. When you are committed to something, you accept no excuses and you get the job done.

So decide what really matters to you. Know why it matters to you and move forward with an attitude of “I’m going to find a way” instead of “I’m the victim.”
Those two types of thinking are completely different – night and day – and they will make a massive difference in your life.

Take Responsibility for Choices in Life

What is time? Is it a resource or a limitation, is it real or an illusion, can you really manage time? Are there real examples of people who have been excellent time managers? Are there people who are not troubled by managing their time?

Firstly time and stress are internally connected...in fact almost all forms of stress have their roots in time.

Let us take a few examples. Why is an examination a stressful experience – because there is a time limit to it. Why is any contest a stressful experience, because there is a limited time in which you have to win it.Can you think of any competition where there is no imposed time limit?

Just reflect on this for a moment, if there was no such thing as time, would there be something called as stress.

YES!! U CAN WIN TIME...
you have to change the way you look at time. You have to look at time as a single moment available to you and not as a day, or a week or a month. This is the single most important shift that has to happen in order to understand and maximize time.

You are given only one moment at a time, what you do with it is all that matters. The moment you start thinking in terms of days, weeks and months, you have postponed your action. If you give it an hour to accomplish a task, it will postpone it to the next hour. If you give it one week to accomplish a task it will move it to the next week.

The only way to control your mind and time is to be in control of this very moment. When you tell your mind to accomplish something this very moment, it cannot postpone it, because postponing requires thinking, which requires time and a single moment cannot allow this.

Remember, action is always about this moment, and thinking is always about what has already happened or what is going to happen.

The easiest way to manage time is to be aware of what you are doing at this very moment. So at this very moment, you can either prepare for your exams or watch television; you can either talk about preparing or actually prepare; you can either sleep or read. If you are aware of all your actions, you can make the necessary shift each moment to align it with your preparations.

And of course, stop giving yourself, convenient, stupid and idiotic justifications like; My food will not get digested, if I don’t eat it slowly for half an hour; I cannot concentrate if I don’t sleep for 11 hours a day; My mind will be fresh only after drinking a cup of tea; Too much of studies dulls my mind; I should not study continuously for more than 1 hour. My eyes will get affected if I see the laptop screen for long. I am different, I can only remember things if I study at midnight between 12 and 4!

Practical necessities and difficulties are always there, but that is for ordinary people. You should not even be reading this article if you consider yourself ordinary. You have to look at yourself as a warrior, who is willing to go to any lengths to Lead the world.

When they meet::both will loose their meaning

In The Past Few Years...

 I learnt to say three very imp words for professional life:-
* Yes sir
* Ok sir.
* I'll Just Do That sir

When I really wanted to quit, I learnt to: -
* Wake Up early
* Sleep late
* Continue to Work

I learnt to give reasons to family, friends and relatives for not making
* Phone Calls
* Messages
* Mails

I learnt to celebrate these things far away from loved ones:-
* Birthday
* Festivals
* New Year

In last one year, People say:-
* You Learnt...
* You Earned...
* You Enjoyed...

But when I compare me with my self...
* I just Sustained...
* I just Tolerated...
* I just Survived... for bucks

I have survived:-
* For convenience of my Family...
* To avoid blame of Society...
* To get tag of Employment...

When I already knew that I have got the wrong train.
* I learnt to Rejoice...
* To be Happy...
* To Smile..

I learnt that corporate life and dreams can never meet..
Because when they meet,
both will lose their meaning...

"Between Somewhere..."

Somewhere between letting GO and NOT MOVING ON...

Somewhere between "Hum sab khel rhe hain tu jaldi aja" And "Milne ka Plan Bnao Yaarrrr....."

Somewhere between "Crying out loud just to get what we want and Holding our tears even when we are broken inside"

We All Grew Up.....

And

Somewhere between-
"Bhai ek kaam hai"
        "Ho jayega saale..!!"
  "Tu rehne de, beta!!
       "Tu jaanta nahin mereko"
"Kya karunga jaanke"
    "Jo Ukhaadna hai ukhaad le!!!"
And
"Bhai,teri bhabhi maan gayi "

We all still fighting with them....
