Hindutva As Dharmic Resistance

The future, in many ways, will be a deep and intense battle of all dharmic forces against the forces that threaten to disrupt and destroy dharma, anywhere on earth. Hindutva is a first robust stand against these disruptive forces.

It bears reiterating that Hindutva cannot be aggressive or violent, for all forms of aggression and violence contradict the spirit of Hindutva. Those who would stand and fight for Hindutva must bear this in mind. The true strength of Hindutva lies in its spirit, in its core doctrine of growth of consciousness. The continuous widening and heightening of consciousness is the core idea around which the new Hindutva narrative must be built.

There is no doubt that forces stubbornly opposed to Hindutva must be fought, repelled, neutralized in every possible way. But fighting the way most others fight, through radicalization and weaponization, cannot be the Hindutva way. We must always bear in mind the simple fact that we are ultimately fighting to defend a way of being, and this way of being, however we may interpret it, does not justify aggression or violence.

But again, this must not lead us to believe that we are to take aggression lying down. Just as physical or military violence is not an option, turning the other cheek too is not an option. What we need to learn is the art of resistance. Not the “passive resistance” of Gandhi but the dharmic resistance of Krishna — to stand in perfect equanimity in the light of our own deepest truth and be prepared to sacrifice our all for the cause; be prepared to die or kill, but without a trace of personal reaction, hatred or vengeance.

This will mean internalizing the battle, learning to take an inner stand, based on spiritual conviction and atma Shakti. Most human battles are fought externally, and so there is mayhem and wanton destruction, but the evil lives on. External violence cannot eradicate the evil, for the evil resides in the consciousness of people, and no outer battle can destroy that. To uproot the evil from its bleeding roots, we must learn to fight the battle where it matters most — in consciousness. This is the import of dharmic resistance: to stand in the way of adharma like a mountain, as unshakeable, as imperturbable, as absolute, and let the true consciousness become the force field around us.

For such a dharmic resistance, the yoddha or the warrior must find the truth of his soul. The dharma yoddha must bring to himself or herself the strengths and resources of the consciousness, which are inconceivably greater than all the physical, economic and military resources we can garner. In fact, the outer resources, physical, economic or military, will find their true purpose and power when led by the consciousness, by the inner truth, by the force of Dharma itself.

All this may sound somewhat abstract and impractical to those moved by great passion for Dharma, those who would rather fight in the trenches, but let us recall that the dharmayuddha of old was fought first of all in the mind and spirit.

Sri Krishna first brought Arjun to the great inner realization of Dharma, to the vast truth of the atman, and only then did he send Arjun into the battlefield to kill. The Bhagavad Gita is not mere metaphor, it is real in every word and sentence. Though it seems fashionable for some modern scholars to interpret the Gita in terms of psychological metaphor, we must not let all that distract us; the Gita is as literal as it gets.

The dharmayuddha that Arjun was exhorted to fight was as real then as it is now; the forces of adharma rage around us today even more ferociously and formidably than it did then. It is now, more than ever, that we need to use the Gita as our brahmashastra, literally.

To abandon the deeper spiritual message of the Gita at this critical time in our own dharmayuddha and rush in with weapons of destruction would be utterly foolhardy. The Gita is our manual for action, the whole strategy for the battle, the assurance of victory.

And what indeed is this strategy? This can be summarized in just two points:

First of all, root yourself in the truth of your being, become atmasthita. This is crucial. To go into dharmayuddha without being firmly established in one’s own dharma would be worse than soldiers going into combat without basic training in martial arts. Being atmasthita is not abstract spirituality, as Krishna makes perfectly clear to Arjun; it is the very key to victory. The atman is the true source of strength and wisdom, it is that which raises the yoddha to another level altogether, it is the singular game changer.

Second, being atmasthita, surrender the outcome of the battle to the Divine, relinquish all personal demand for victory and trust the infinitely vaster Divine Wisdom and Vision that unerringly guides all life in the universe. When we do that, we open ourselves in a very real and practical way to the direct guidance and inspiration of the Divine, we become instruments in its vaster action and are no longer left to our own meagre devices and resources. This is something that can be done effortlessly once we understand the deeper truth that Dharma and the dharmayuddha are finally not in human hands but in the hands of the Divine. If Dharma indeed is eternal, then it is also protected by the eternal consciousness. We are all mere instruments, nimitta matra, whether we like it or not. That which is already determined in the Divine’s cosmic vision is eventually what will happen in this world. Our business as instruments in the action is to keep our minds and hearts, our volition and actions, aligned to the Divine and go forth in battle protected by the armor of an inner knowing that no outer knowledge or force can rival.

Thus are we made into true warriors of Dharma. Let us reflect upon this before we rush into battle.

Shah Faesal : An Indian Spy – Traitor Among The Traitors?

Shah Faesal has resigned once again. This time from the political party that he has formed days before the abrogation of article 370 by Modi Govt. From resigning from civil services to becoming a poster boy for separatists and Tukde Tukde gang and now rejoining civil services, Shah Faesal has completed a full circle.

There are speculations about what made Shah Faesal resign and join hands with Tukde Tukde Gang and Separatists forces in the valley and what exactly has prompted him to suddenly make a come back.

There is huge protest and opposition among right wing social media groups on possible rejoining of Shah Faesal. But there are strong rumors also, talks of Shah Faesal working on a secret assignment and how he has delivered what was otherwise very difficult for the Govt of India to achieve. Top Level Inside information and inputs on terror network in the valley.

Shah Faesal earned the access to top leadership of separatist leadership in the valley and he became part of all plannings and discussions at the top. Rumors are that Shah Faesal was constantly providing all these information and inputs to Indian Agencies and was helping them bursting the terror hideouts in the Post 370 (abrogation of 370) era.

Was Shah Faesal part of the plan from Day one? Answer is probably yes. there are people who claim that Shah Faesal even had a meeting with NSA Ajit Doval before he announced about him quitting the civil services and forming his own political party.

Several Anti Terror operations took place in the valley which were not possible without top level intelligence and inside information. In fact nation wide raids against naxal and leftist infrastructure is also possible because the Govt now has people giving real time inputs and alerts to agencies. We have seen Govt arresting top level Naxal leaders and even professors like Apoorvanand who otherwise were very smart to remain above the suspicion. May be Shah Faesal’s closeness with Shehla Rashid helped in gaining crucial information about leftist naxal terror groups.

Was Shehla Rashid also part of the plan or was she just being used by Shah Faesal? This is an question that is still unanswered but many hardcore leftist leaders have questioned the role of Shehla Rashid in JNU investigation against Kanhiya Kumar and Umar Khalid.

Coming back to Shah Faesal, The fact is Govt of India never accepted his resignation and he was never completely removed from the services , the doors were always open for Shah Faesal. This makes some people judge that all this while, Shah Faesal was just working on a short term confidential assignment given by Doval or someone senior in the Govt.

Whether Shah Faesal was an Indian Spy in pro Pakistani Gang in the valley? Whether he was working on an assignment given by NSA Ajit Doval? Was he leaking all the information to Indian agencies all this while? These are some questions that may never be answered officially but one thing is clear Shah Faesal has always faced a soft treatment from a Govt that is known for literally crushing the Anti National elements.

Dear Parents, Please Save Our Next Generation

The easy access to 2GB/3GB high speed internet and so called smart phones might be leading your child to somewhere which you may or may not be aware of. It is true that every coin has two faces so you may disagree with what I am going to talk in this request cum-article. I have seen people who have been immensely benefited by the access to internet and smart phone.

You might have heard that a Cooley in Kerala had accessed free internet from the railway platform for his study and could clear state civil service exam. There are many such examples. Here i am not going to talk about mature individuals who knows what is good and what is bad for them.

The prime concern here is the impact of smart phone among school going small kids. They are too small to use smart phones and internet for bettering theirs learning curves and learning outcomes. At the same time, they are more vulnerable to be indulged in the wrong use of internet. Firstly, because they are not aware about what is good and what is bad for them. They could not differentiate between good and bad. Secondly and most importantly, internet would have answers for every queries.

If you type on Google search ‘the benefits of rape’ you will get two-three articles saying rape is good and it benefits men. In the same tab if you type ‘harms of rape’ you will get the answers accordingly. So here in the case of kids who are not enough mature to differentiate between these two answers, may choose any of these two. So here is the equal probability that a child can indulge in wrong.

Here problem is not the internet but the level of maturity, awareness and understanding to differentiate between right and wrong.

If you believe your child is able to choose the right then you must be negating that 50 percent probability. You might have heard that a group of class 11th and 12th students were running a whatsup group and involved in wrong doings. They had planned to rape their own classmate girls. Fortunately they were exposed before doing such crimes. One student from the same group has said that there are many such groups exist in different schools and cities. So the submission here is that you have to be cautious, vigilant and aware about what your child is doing.

Children are our resources or can say the capitals on which our future endeavours are dependent. Children are often called the national property. So good parenting is not only your responsibility as a father or mother but also it is your national duty.

Here some of the pointers on which you may agree or disagree but these are the measures to overcome this ever increasing new challenge.

  • Avoid giving high speed internet enabled smart phones to small kids till they become little mature (You may allow them to play games and use internet for creative purposes or creativity)
  • Be cautious, vigilant and aware about what your child is doing.
  • If he/she has to use internet for educational purposes you must allow them but at the same time you have to be watchful if he/she using internet for any other purposes (This is relevant to only smaller kids. If he/she is in class 10 or above then they must not be limited or regulated like this)
  • Be talkative and friendly to your kids so that they would be able to express themselves freely in front of you. In such friendly environment they would share their concerns, their thinking, their plans, their engagement in school etc. This would allow them to say the truth and avoid lying to you. You should not react immediately if they share something with you. If you over react or do something immediately then next time they will not share anything to you and would start telling lie.

These are some of the suggestions for good parenting. You may agree or disagree.

New Education Policy in Bharatvarsh
